FAQ

Do any of your products contain artificial or natural flavours?

No - only real ingredients. We don't add any artificial or natural flavours.

What are your tea bags (infusion bags) made of?

They are biodegradable tea bags, made from abacá (manila hemp). Our tea bags are non-heat sealable - the folding and crimping is done by the machine, so that it is held together by a cotton string, along with a paper tag.

Does your tea bag contain tea dust or powder?

A common misconception, often used in marketing, is that this type of tea bag contains tea dust, which refers to the smallest particles left after sorting larger leaves. At Dweller, we use fresh fruits, herbs, and spices, carefully sized to fit into our compostable tea bags.

Why are all your tea bags individually wrapped?

This prevents the herbs from deteriorating and keeps them fresh. Exposure to air, light, and humidity can affect the quality of dried herbs, so the sealed packaging ensures the herbs stay fresh until they reach your cup.

Our current envelopes are work in progress - please recycle me.

Where do you source the ingredients for its teas?

Over 92% of the ingredients we use are made in-house from fresh produce sourced in Northeast India, particularly Manipur.

Do you have loose teas?

Yes, of course! Please check the product page for loose tea options.

Are Dweller teas available outside India?

Yes! You can now sip on our teas in the USA through Amazon.com. For other regions, reach us at hello@dwellerteas.com.
