Sumac Berry Tea

Growing up in the 90s in Manipur, a single rupee from my mother for a packet of powdered Sumac Berry (locally known as Hei-mang) would brighten my day! Licking those tiny citrusy berries off my hand in the scorching heat was a joy I couldn't keep to myself. Sumac Berry is so refreshing that both kids and adults can relish it with joy.
Naturally grown in the hills of Manipur, Sumac Berry is traditionally enjoyed powdered, used to make a delicious hot infusion as a digestive aid, or cold brewed to stay cool and hydrated on a sunny day.
